The Department of Administration provides support to City management, operating departments and component units of the City.
The department is responsible for preparing monthly interim financial reports for the City of Perry and its component units.
Other areas of oversight include budgeting, banking relations, borrowing activities, fleet services, grant administration oversight, and risk management.
Vehicle Maintenance repairs and maintains city-owned vehicles, off-road equipment and motorized equipment. Fleet Management also generates specifications for new vehicles and inspects new vehicles upon delivery for compliance.
This division is a customer-oriented department committed to providing the highest quality service to all City departments in a courteous and professional manner at all times. They are charged with the responsibility of maintaining safe, reliable vehicles/equipment, providing mechanical support in a timely manner and providing service and products that are safe, efficient, and cost-effective.
