The City of Perry is committed to the safety and well-being of our citizens and visitors. We continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and encourage our citizens and visitors to abide by the CDC guidelines to prevent the illness from spreading.

COVID-19 Restrictions Policy

Affected City Services (as of 8/31/21)

Due to the rising number of Houston County hospitalizations, the following protocols are effective immediately:

  • City Hall (1211 Washington Street)
    • A face mask is required for entry.
  • City Council Meetings & Work Sessions
    • A face mask is required for entry.
    • Work Sessions and Council Meetings are held at the Perry Events Center located at 1121 Macon Road, Perry.
    • Meetings are live-streamed through the City of Perry Facebook page.
  • Customer Service
    • A face mask is required for entry.
    • Cash is not accepted at Customer Service inside City Hall.
    • Cash is accepted in the JACK kiosk located in the City Hall parking lot.
  • Jame E. Worrall Center
    • A face mask is required for entry.
  • Municipal Court
    • Court hearings are held at the Perry Events Center (1121 Macon Road, Perry).

    • A face mask is required for entry. Heath screening may be taken at the door.
    • Vaccinated individuals are not required to wear a mask. Non-vaccinated individuals are strongly encouraged to wear a mask.
  • Perry Events Center
    • A face mask is required for entry.
  • Special Events
    • September 10 – Food Truck Friday canceled
    • September 18 – Perry Music Festival canceled
