Public Works Superintendent Appointed

The City of Perry is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Ansley Fitzner as the City’s Public Works Superintendent. Non-Essential Offices Closed July 3

Our non-essential offices will be closed Friday, July 3. Garbage and recycling pick-up will continued as scheduled. Yard debris or bulk waste will not be collected on Friday.

Downtown Businesses Benefit From Main Street Resiliency Grant

The Perry Main Street Advisory Board awarded over $4,700 in grant money to nineteen Historic Downtown Perry businesses. The grants are funded through the Perry Main Street Program Small Business Resiliency Grant. The Resiliency Fund is intended to support small businesses and their employees in Perry’s downtown district who are significantly impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak. BOOST Applications Now Available

Downtown Perry’s small businesses may apply for a grant to purchase equipment and eligible supplies. The Perry Downtown Development Authority, or DDA, is accepting applications for the 11th round of BOOST grants; applications will be accepted from June 14-July 3. Virtual Summer Camp

The City of Perry Leisure Service’s Department will host “Camp’In,” a virtual summer camp, beginning June 9. This free, eight-week program will provide activities three days a week involving STEM education, games, physical activities, virtual field trips, and more.
