The City of Perry will host the Winter Wonderland Christmas Parade on December 3 beginning at 10:00 a.m.
This is the first time the City of Perry plays host to the Perry Christmas Parade. Attendees can expect more than 50 floats featuring representatives from the community.
The parade will begin on Kellwood Drive and then turn right onto General Courtney Hodges Boulevard. The route will continue to Macon Road via Carroll Street. A map of the parade route is below.
Road closures will begin at 8:30 a.m. on the day of the parade. Roads will reopen at 11:00 a.m. Affected roads include:
- Courtney Hodges Boulevard from Kellwood Drive to Macon Road.
- Carroll Street from Marion Street to Macon Road.
Vehicular access points along Courtney Hodges Boulevard and Carroll Street will be blocked until 11:00 a.m.
