Perry Convention & Visitors Bureau
The mission of this authority is to promote tourism, trade, and conventions for the City of Perry by studying, investigating, and developing plans for continuous improvement in these areas. The authority advises and makes recommendations to promote public interest in the general improvement of tourism in the City of Perry to City Council and departments.
Volunteering is a rewarding experience, whether you're looking for school service hours, want to bolster your resume, or simply wish to give back to your community! From the Dogwood Festival to the Georgia National Fair and more, Visit Perry will be setting up an information booth at a number of local and regional events this year and we would love to have YOU be a part of our outreach! So if you are passionate about Perry and enjoy interacting with others, you will love volunteering with Visit Perry where you can provide the local perspective on where to eat, sleep, shop, and play in Perry to first time visitors, new residents, and seasonal guests! Generally, the Perry Convention & Visitors Bureau meets at 4 PM on the 4th Thursday of each month at the Perry Welcome Center (101 General Courtney Hodges Boulevard) Meetings are open to the public.
