Perry Firefighters Rescue Trapped Woman In the early morning of June 2, Perry Fire and Emergency Services responded to a structure fire at the Soho Inn on Valley Drive. Responders were advised people might be trapped inside a room. The Perry Police Department also arrived at the building and alerted other occupants about the fire. UPDATE | May 25, 2021 Work is completed and the road closures/detours are no longer required. The Duncan Avenue and Evergreen Street area will experience road closures and detours beginning Wednesday, May 19. Crews are repairing a sewer issue. Signs directing traffic through detours will be clearly marked and visible. Please use caution when driving in this area.
