Lunch & Learn Educates Business and Property Owners The Downtown Development Authority hosted a Lunch and Learn for current and prospective business and property owners in Perry's Downtown District. Participants learned about the variety of incentives and financial opportunities through the Georgia Department of Community Affairs and through the City for building a business in Historic Downtown Perry. Nearly $1 Million in Business Tax Credits Awarded Since 2018

The City of Perry assisted local businesses obtain nearly one million dollars in business tax credits under the Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA) Rural Zone program. The Rural Zone program offers tax credits to eligible businesses for job creation, investment, and building rehabilitation.
