Georgia Burn Ban Lifted On October 1

The state-wide summer burn ban will end on Sunday, October 1. This means that open outdoor burning is permissible when conditions are favorable. Prior to burning within the city limits, you must call the Perry Fire Department at (478) 338-6368. Perry’s ISO Rating Improves

Perry’s ISO Rating Improves The City of Perry recently received an Insurance Services Office (ISO) rating of Class 3/3x. Perry’s previous rating was 4/4x. Perry Firefighters Rescue Trapped Woman In the early morning of June 2, Perry Fire and Emergency Services responded to a structure fire at the Soho Inn on Valley Drive. Responders were advised people might be trapped inside a room. The Perry Police Department also arrived at the building and alerted other occupants about the fire.
