Firefighters and Citizens Receive Life Safe Award In July, Perry Fire and Emergency Services (PFES) responded to a call regarding a reported person down at Planet Fitness in Perry. When crews arrived, they found an unresponsive female laying on the floor inside the facility. Perry Fire Lieutenant Gerald Michel and his son, D’Andre Brisson, were at the gym off-duty witnessed the woman collapse and immediately went to assist her. The woman was not breathing or had a pulse. Sergeant Drew Rowell Named 2022 Firefighter of the Year

The City of Perry Fire Department nominated Sergeant Drew Rowell as their 2022 Firefighter of the Year! Firefighter of the Year is a nomination voted on by the employees of the Perry Fire Department.
