Police Chief Receives Commissioning from Middle Georgia Regional Commission

Chief Everidge received his commissioning from the Middle Georgia Regional Commission Leadership Training last week. 25 people from across the 11-county region completed the yearlong training session to help understand how much each community has in common and how to look at ideas to address issues from a regional perspective. Perry Youth Football All-Stars Receive 1st and 2nd Place in District Tournament

The Perry 8U, 10U, and 12U Football All-Star teams competed in the GRPA District Tournament in Jones County over the weekend! The 8U team received 2nd place in the District, and the 10U & 12U teams both received the District Champion title. City of Perry Hosts Christmas Parade The City of Perry will host the Winter Wonderland Christmas Parade on December 3 beginning at 10:00 a.m. This is the first time the City of Perry plays host to the Perry Christmas Parade. Section of Thompson Road to Temporarily Close

Beginning on November 14, a section of Thompson Road between Perry Parkway and Hwy 41 will be closed. The detour route will be the intersection of Perry Parkway and Hwy 41. Road closure signs will be placed to the North and South of Thompson Road along Hwy 41 and Perry Parkway. Temporary barricades will be placed at both ends of Thompson Road. Officers Arrest Two With Multiple Drug Charges On November 8, 2022, Perry Police Officer Davis observed a vehicle with a non-functioning driver's side headlight and no tag lights traveling on Houston Lake Road. In October, Lt. Hill of the Perry Police Department discovered a person that appeared to be passed out at the Circle K on Perry Parkway.
