On 08/13/2023 at approximately 0839 hrs., Houston County 911 dispatched officers to 1521 Houston Lake Road, Perry, GA., 31069 in reference to two males outside of this residence with firearms. One of the males, identified as Jason Butler, was found to be in possession of a semi-automatic pistol (reported stolen by the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department), a revolver, and an ar-15 rifle. During investigation, Butler was found to have pointed the firearm(s) towards both an adult and juvenile victim, while forcefully entering the residence. Butler was determined to be a convicted felon prohibited from possessing any firearms. Butler arrested for charges of home invasion, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of a firearm by convicted felon, and theft by receiving stolen property. There were no injuries reported during this incident.
