Brownfield Cleanup Grant Community Information Meeting | November 4

The City is applying for a U.S. FY 2022 EPA Cleanup Brownfields Grant to assist the City in the environmental remediation of impacted soil at the former Stanley Assemblage property (1107 Macon Road).

This funding will help our community by:

  • Cleaning up vacant blighted property
  • Minimizing exposure to contaminants
  • Catalyzing local economic development
  • Creating jobs

Attendees will also have the opportunity to:

  • Discuss redevelopment needs
  • Volunteer to serve on the City's Brownfield Working Group

The meeting takes place at the Perry City Hall Council Chambers (1211 Washington Street) on November 4 at 11:30 a.m.

The public is welcome to review and make comments on the drafts of the cleanup grant application and the Analysis of Brownfield Cleanup Alternatives (ABCA). The drafts will be available at the location noted above. Comments are also accepted through email at robert.smith@perry-ga.gov.
