City of Perry Brings 200th Celebration to District 1

The City of Perry is bringing the 200th Celebration Pop Up Party to areas in District 1 on Tuesday, March 12 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Perry Fire and Emergency Services’ antique fire truck will travel through Perry neighborhoods in 2024 for picture opportunities, giveaways, and celebrations.

District 1 neighborhoods and parks included in Tuesday’s pop up party include the following:

  • Johnny Noble Dixon Park neighborhood (612 Plum Street)
  • Creekwood Park neighborhood (110 Ida Lasseter Circle)
  • Willie Teonate Williams Park neighborhood (909 Jeanne Street)
  • Neighborhood behind Cracker Barrell (101 Lect Drive)
  • Neighborhood behind Perry Feed and Tack (Kellwood Drive Area)

A map of the areas covered on March 12 is below. The antique fire truck will cruise through the listed areas between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Perry’s 200th Birthday Celebration Community Pop Up Parties will cover each district throughout the year and advertised before each event.
