City of Perry Expands Perry Points Service
The City of Perry announces the addition of two new features to Perry Points, its text messaging platform that launched in January to support the city’s customer service efforts.
In addition to the existing text service, Perry Points will now be accessible on the city’s website, www.perry-ga.gov. Residents can also submit service requests or report issues to the city with Perry Points.
With Perry Points, residents can quickly and easily get answers to their questions, find information on various city services, submit service requests, send a message to staff or sign up for text message alerts. The chatbot was developed with the latest AI-driven chatbot technology, allowing the city to automate and scale its customer service efforts to help with the day-to-day needs of both staff and residents.
Perry Points can be found on the city’s website where both desktop and mobile users will notice the new feature on the lower right corner of their browser window. Clicking on the icon launches a chat window, greeting residents and prompting them to enter their questions or service requests.
If at any time during the interaction a Perry resident needs additional assistance or help from city staff, they can easily send in a message with Perry Points and the appropriate staff member can follow up with them.
To start a conversation with Perry Points via text message, Perry residents can text “hello” to (888) 49-PERRY (73779). Perry Points immediately responds with a short greeting explaining the ways residents can use the service and a link to sign up for text message notifications.
