Community Invited to Downtown Perry Sweets & Treats

Historic Downtown Perry invites participants to the annual Sweets and Treats free event on October 27 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Attendees are encouraged to dress in their best Halloween costumes as they collect candy and trinkets from participating downtown merchants and outside organizations. Bags or buckets are strongly encouraged.

Dream a Little Wish Entertainment will be on hand with princesses and superheroes on the City Hall lawn for free photo opportunities.

Participants can enter from any side of the event footprint. There is not a designated starting or end point.

Road closures begin at 3:00 p.m. on the day of the event. Affected roads include:

• Carroll Street
• Ball Street between Commerce Street and Main Street
• Jernigan Street between Commerce Street and Main Street
