Dogwood Derby Set for April 10
The official City of Perry Dogwood Derby will be held in Historic Downtown Perry on Saturday, April 10. The event is free to attend from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
An officially sanctioned Perry Dogwood Festival event, the public is invited to spend the morning watching derby cars of all shapes and sizes race one another down Carroll Street in Historic Downtown Perry.
Cars from businesses and organizations throughout Middle Georgia will race against each other in this exciting, family-friendly event.
Road closures begin at 7:00 a.m. They will include the 700 and 800-blocks of Carroll Street and Jernigan Street between Main Street and Commerce Street.
It is not too late to register. Racers are encouraged to complete and submit a racer registration form located on the City’s website. Registration is free.
Those attending are asked to practice social distancing. Masks are strongly encouraged.
