The ESG Operations Frank Satterfield Wastewater Treatment Plant was presented with 3 awards by the Georgia Association of Water Professionals at the January 16 Council Meeting. These awards include the Laboratory QA/QC Award, CCR Competition Award, and the WEF Safety Award.
The Laboratory QA/QC Award encourages the professional advancement of laboratories within Georgia. The process provides an avenue for peers to exchange ideas, circulate technical expertise, and offer productive feedback. In doing so, the committee ultimately recognizes those laboratories who are demonstrating outstanding quality assurance programs.
The CCR Competition Award recognizes water systems’ hard work putting together the Consumer Confidence Report. CCR’s are selected for effectively educating Georgia citizens about the exceptional water services provided across the state.
The WEF Safety Award encourages active and effective safety programs in the water environment field. It recognizes entities that not only invest their resources to develop high quality safety programs and adopt them within their own culture, but also actively seek out opportunities to share these programs with others in the water industry for the benefit of all. This award is especially significant, as it is awarded to only 1 wastewater and 1 water plant in the state each year.
The City of Perry contracts with ESG Operations for water, wastewater, and natural gas.
