General Courtney Hodges Blvd & W.F. Ragin Dr. | Traffic Shift

A traffic shift and lane closure on General Courtney Hodges Blvd is scheduled to begin Tuesday, May 12, 2026. The first phase will impact the northeast-bound lanes just before Martin Luther King Jr. Drive as crews begin rebuilding the first half of the bridge. Traffic will later shift to the southwest side once that phase is complete.

The intersection of General Courtney Hodges Blvd and W.F. Ragin Drive will also close as part of the project. W.F. Ragin Drive will stay open from Sam Nunn Blvd south to St. James CME Church in the New Hope neighborhood. A detour will be in place using SR 7 (Ball Street) as the alternate route.

Please plan ahead, follow posted signage, and use caution in the area.
