Gov. Kemp Issues New Executive Order | April 20, 2020

Governor Kemp issued a new Executive Order regarding reopening businesses and the state’s Shelter in Place order.

Here are the highlights:

Reopens certain businesses beginning Friday, April 24, 2020 but with limitations.

Georgia’s Shelter in Place order is expected to end April 30, 2020 at 11:59 p.m.

Restaurants may resume limited dine in service on Monday, April 27, 2020.

Bars and nightclubs are to remain closed.

As always – the health and safety of our citizens, businesses, and visitors remain a top priority.

All City events continue to be cancelled through June.

Hand washing and social distancing are still highly encouraged.
