Historic Downtown Perry To Host Annual Sweets and Treats Event

Historic Downtown Perry invites participants to the annual Sweets and Treats event on October 28 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Attendees are encouraged to dress in their best Halloween costumes as they collect candy and trinkets from participating downtown merchants and outside organizations.

Participants can enter from any side of the event footprint. There is not a designated starting or end point.

A map of downtown parking is accessible on the Historic Downtown Perry’s website. Click on the Parking Map icon to view available parking around the event.

Road closures begin at 3:00 p.m. on the day of the event. Affected roads include:

• Carroll Street from Marion Street to Washington Street
• Ball Street between Commerce Street and Main Street
• Jernigan Street between Commerce Street and Main Street
