Missing Endangered Elderly Female
On April 18th, 2023, at around 1930 hrs., officers with the Perry Police Department responded to 102 Mato Cante CT. in reference to a missing elderly female. The reported missing person is Gloria Giles, a 76-year-old Asian female. Giles is 5’ 00 tall and weighs approximately 115 pounds. Gloria Giles lives at 102 Mato Cante Ct, Perry, Georgia and was reported missing by her daughter. Mrs. Giles was last seen on April 17, 2023, around 0800 hrs. at her residence on Mato Cante CT. Mrs. Giles has several medical conditions and needs her medications. Mrs. Giles does not drive and is known to walk around the area of her subdivision off Hwy 127 near Talton Road.
The Perry Police Department, Houston County Sheriff’s Office, Houston County Fire Department, Georgia Department of Corrections K-9 unit, and Georgia State Patrol Aviation Division conducted an extensive search of the area surrounding Giles residence. The search was called off around 0130 hrs. and will resume around 0900 hrs. today.
