On 11/12/2022 at approx. 0125 hours, Officers with the Perry Police Department were dispatched to an aggravated assault incident at the Perry Housing Authority, 822 Perimeter Road, in Perry, GA. Patrol officers located the victim and rendered aid. The victim was found to have sustained a single gunshot wound to the lower abdomen. EMS transported the victim to Navicent Health in Macon, GA. to undergo surgery.

Perry Police Department Investigators responded and took over the investigation. Throughout the investigation, a suspect was identified as Thomas Parrish. Warrants were obtained for his arrest for aggravated assault, aggravated battery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and reckless conduct.

The Perry Police Department requested assistance from the US Marshalls Fugitive Task Force in locating Parrish.

On 12/04/2022, Thomas Parrish was arrested on the outstanding warrants by the US Marshalls Service and without incident. The Perry Police Department would like to thank the US Marshalls Service for their assistance with this case.
