Open Streets Perry Provides Unique Downtown Experience

Posted on

Open Streets, Perry’s newest event, will take place in Historic Downtown Perry on Friday, June 3 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Open Streets Perry is a unique event that brings the community together as our downtown streets are closed to cars and open to the public – turning strangers into neighbors and neighbors into friends!

Think of Open Streets Perry as an epic free block party hosted in the heart of Historic Downtown Perry!

The streets of Historic Downtown Perry will be wide open for attendees to enjoy numerous free activities such as live music, rock climbing, chalk art, a petting zoo, lawn games, and more!

Attendees of all ages and abilities can also participate in a free bike clinic hosted by The Bike Shop Warner Robins as well as bring their own bike, roller skates, or scooter to cruise up and down Carroll Street.

Road closures begin at 3:00 p.m. on June 3 affecting Carroll Street, Jernigan Street, and Ball Street.
