Perry Branch Gravity Sewer Project Update

The City is beginning work on the Perry Branch Gravity Sewer Upgrades project, extending from Tucker Road to Kings Chapel Road along Perry Branch.

The project includes the installation of a new gravity sewer pipeline parallel to the existing sewer within easements on private property.

The project's purpose is to abandon an approximately 50-year-old dilapidated sewer pipeline and install a new, larger gravity sewer. This is needed to reduce infiltration and inflow within the wastewater system.

Construction will conclude in June of 2023.
