Perry Police Department Provides Update in Homicide Investigation

On December 11, 2024, Perry Police Detectives charged and arrested Travis Buckley, an 18-year-old Black male, in connection with the murder of Mason Holt.

Buckley has been charged with the following offenses:

• Felony Murder

• Aggravated Assault

• Armed Robbery

• Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony

Buckley is currently being held at the Houston County Detention Center.
