Traffic Advisory for Graduation Week | General Courtney Hodges Boulevard
With local graduation ceremonies taking place on May 21 and 22, 2026, residents and visitors should expect traffic delays near General Courtney Hodges Boulevard due to active bridge construction and lane closures in the area.
As part of the construction:
• WF Ragin Drive at General Courtney Hodges Boulevard is closed
• Main Street at General Courtney Hodges Boulevard is closed
• Traffic impacts are also affecting Martin Luther King Jr. Drive
Drivers attending graduation events are encouraged to use I-75 Exit 134 and Exit 135 when possible to help avoid congestion.
Traffic control personnel will be assisting with traffic flow at:
• General Courtney Hodges Boulevard and Larry Walker Parkway
• The I-75 Exit 135 off-ramp
