Two Arrested In July 24 Homicide

On July 24, 2021, at 11:15 pm, Perry police officers responded to a shots fired call at Mason Terrace Apartments. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 77-year-old black male, Willie Jacox (address of 110 Ridge Court, Centerville, Georgia), had been shot multiple times and was not responsive. Jacox was pronounced dead at the scene. Responding officers were informed that a black male and a black female were observed quickly walking away from the area of the incident. Officers were able to locate the black male, later identified as Cornelius Reyshawn Wallace Murray (b/m, age 19, out of Americus, Georgia), and the black female, later identified as Natajah Sincere Culpepper (b/f, age 18, out of Centerville, Georgia). After further investigation, it was determined that both subjects were involved in the homicide of Jacox. Both individuals have been charged with Murder (Murray) and Murder-Party to a Crime (Culpepper). Both subjects are being held at the Houston County Detention Center.
