Water Disruption/Boil Water Advisory in New Haven Subdivision CANCELED

Posted on

UPDATE: As of July 7, 2022 at 9:25 A.M., the boil water advisory for New Haven residents has been lifted. Residents can continue normal water use.

A water main break in the New Haven subdivision earlier this morning caused water disruption in this area. Crews worked to replace the pipe and water is now on.

In order to protect the public from a potential health hazard, all citizens that have experienced water outages and/or low water pressures are advised to “boil” all water prior to use for drinking, cooking, or preparing baby food when the water comes back on. The water should be boiled for at least one minute after reaching a rolling boil.

The advisory will be in effect for approximately 24 hours for testing to be completed.

Citizens should continue to boil their water until they are notified by their drinking water utility that the water system has been restored to full operation, and that the microbiological quality of the water in the distribution system is safe for human consumption.

We will continue to provide updates as they become available.
