American Sign Language Classes Open For Registration

Perry Leisure Services is accepting applicants for their Introduction to American Sign Language (ASL) Classes.

The course will discuss the history and culture of the Deaf community, learn basic communication through ASL, and develop cultural awareness.

The class will also teach participants how to become ambassadors of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within their community.

Due to popularity, two separate classes are offered during the summer - June 5-26 and July 10-31. Classes will meet on Mondays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Registration Details:

• Fee: $30/person
• Must be at least 15 years old
