Perry Council Recognizes Small Businesses

Mayor and City Council proclaimed the Saturday after Thanksgiving as Small Business Saturday.

The City of Perry supports local businesses that create jobs, boost our economy, and preserve our communities.

According to the United States Small Business Administration, there are 31.7 million small businesses in the United States and are responsible for creating 65.1% of net new jobs.

Mayor Walker, along with City of Perry Downtown Manager, presented the proclamation to representatives of Perry’s small business community.
