Perry Fire Department Receives Seabie Hickson Community Service Award

The City of Perry Fire & Emergency Services Department was awarded the 2023 Seabie Hickson Community Service Award from the Perry Chamber of Commerce at the Annual Meeting!

The Perry Fire Department won this award for outstanding commitment to the Perry community. With 45 dedicated personnel responding to over 3,600 calls in 2023, the Perry Fire Department goes beyond emergency response.

The department actively engages with the community through annual presentations, reading programs for elementary school children, various educational initiatives, and community outreach. In addition, the department provides fire extinguisher training, installs smoke alarms, and conducts CPR training, ensuring the safety of both children and adults.
