Perry Police Department Arrests Three Suspects in Golf Cart Theft Case
The Perry Police Department has apprehended three suspects in connection with the theft of multiple golf carts from Mike’s Carts on Sam Nunn Boulevard.
On December 18, 2024, officers arrested Edward Hargreaves (37) and Ashley Cebada (42) following a brief pursuit. A search revealed methamphetamine and firearms in their possession and inside the stolen golf cart they were using to flee. Both suspects face multiple charges, including theft, property damage, drug possession, and firearms violations.
On December 19, 2024, investigators recovered a third stolen golf cart at a residence on New Castle Drive in Warner Robins. During this operation, officers arrested Kerry Holt (50), who was charged with Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Trafficking Methamphetamine.
“This incident highlights the dedication of our officers to ensure public safety and bring offenders to justice. I want to commend the teamwork and swift action demonstrated by our department and our partner agencies,” said Chief Everidge.
