Join the City of Perry as we recognize Juneteenth with a Juneteenth Freedom Day Festival celebrating the emancipation of those who had been enslaved in the United States.
Celebrated annually on June Nineteenth, Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. Today Juneteenth commemorates African American freedom and emphasizes education and achievement.
Featuring a variety of live entertainment, children's activities, food trucks, and more, our Juneteenth Freedom Day Festival will be a day of celebrating freedom and equality for all!
