Annual Spring Cleanup | April 4-8, 2022

Posted on

Spring Cleanup will be effective April 4- April 8, 2022. Items will be picked up on your regular service day.

Bulk items such as furniture (couches, chairs, tables, mattresses, and appliances), must be placed curbside sorted and stacked in a neat and orderly manner no later than 6:00 AM the morning before your scheduled cleanup day and no earlier than a week before your cleanup day. The bulk collection starts on Monday; however, the actual collection time will vary due to the total volume and type of materials set out. This program will include some items that are not normally hauled by your trash service.

All rims must be removed from tires before being placed curbside. Any tires with rims still left in them will not be picked up. There is a limit of 4 tires maximum per household (Accepted during Spring Cleanup Only).

PROHIBITED MATERIALS • Materials such as roofing materials, tile, concrete, bricks, stones, etc., automotive body parts, engines, transmissions, batteries, used oil, wet paint (liquid), insecticides, chemicals, and hazardous waste will not be collected. • No biohazardous materials will be accepted such as blades, needles, or anything containing bodily fluids.

This is a free service provided by the City of Perry. The City reserves the right to refuse any items for Cleanup that do not meet the criteria of the program. Questions/Comments should be directed to the Public Works Department at 478-988-2732.
