City of Perry Kicks off Fall Film Series

The City of Perry kicks off the Fall Film Series at Heritage Oaks Park on Friday, September 2 beginning at 7:00 p.m.

The featured film, Remember The Titans, will be the first of 4 films to play on the big screen this fall. Free popcorn and activities will be available for the whole family to enjoy during the movie.

“22 years ago, the Perry High School marching band can be found cheering for the Titans during their performances in the 2000 Disney film. This classic film was chosen to kick off the series because it holds a special meaning to the Perry community,” said Special Events Coordinator, Anya Turpin,

For the September event, the Georgia National Guard will be on site with free football activities for all attendees to participate in.

A ticket is NOT required for entry to this event. This event is free. Parking is limited and entry is on a first come, first serve basis. No entry is allowed after the parking lot is full.

Outside coolers are permitted. We strongly encourage attendees to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets for comfortable seating.

Vendors will be onsite with food options for purchase.

Parking lot updates will be sent via text message through the City’s texting service, Perry Points. Text Hello to 888-49-PERRY (73779), click the link for text alert signup, and choose the “Perry Events” category.

Heritage Oaks Park is located at 2021 Sam Nunn Boulevard in Perry.
