Keys to the Downtown District Honors Perry Businesses

Historic Downtown Perry is celebrating business milestones with the launch of a new recognition program. The Keys to the Downtown District recognize Downtown District businesses celebrating anniversaries, expansions, new locations, or other milestones by presenting them with a ceremonial key that symbolizes their important role in Perry’s thriving downtown.

Clover Wine Merchant at 907 Carroll Street is the first business to receive this honor, marking five years of success. Owners and staff were presented with a ceremonial key, marking their contributions to the growth and vibrancy of Historic Downtown Perry.

“Keys to the Downtown District is our way of saying thank you,” said Alicia Hartley, Downtown Manager for the City of Perry. “Our businesses are what make downtown unique. We’re proud to recognize Clover Wine Merchant as the very first recipient.”

The program is open to new and existing businesses within the Downtown District.

Upcoming celebrations include:

  • Landmark Realty – September 16, 2025 at 11 a.m.
  • Sole Shoe Co. – September 17, 2025 at 10 a.m.
  • Trattoria Di Napoli – September 23, 2025 at 11 a.m.
