The Perry Buzzard Drop kicks off Perry's 200th Birthday Celebration! We're celebrating all year long and we want YOU to be part of the celebration! Branded t-shirts and hats are available for purchase.
Live Entertainment by Cash's Juke Joint and DjMixmaster T.
Enjoy a variety of Historic Downtown Perry Dining & Spirits!
FREE activities include face painting, Trailer Flash photo booth pictures, Scott’s Shoe Shine, Middle Georgia Inflatables LLC, Middle Georgia Gellyball LLC and more!
With exciting cheers and bursts of confetti cannons, our free "Kiddie Countdown" will take place at 8 PM, offering a fun and interactive opportunity for families to celebrate New Year's Eve together without having to miss bedtime!
Of course, we'll also ring in 2024 at midnight!
No personal heaters or outside coolers are allowed. Chairs and blankets are encouraged.
Make plans to arrive and leave safely! The Perry Police Departmentwill offer a courtesy shuttle to those living with Perry's city limits.

Perry High Football State Championship Recognition Event
We’re proud to recognize the Perry High School State Football Champions just prior to the Perry Buzzard Drop on December 31!The City of Perry Fire & Emergency Services will escort the football players and cheerleaders from Legacy Park (intersection of Carroll and Main Streets), down Carroll Street, and then to the main event stage on the City Hall lawn.
Joing us beginning at 6:30 p.m. as we congratulate these young people who make us Perry Proud.
