The Perry Trash Dash will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
This City-wide event is designed to support community engagement and promote clean and vibrant neighborhoods. Trash collected will be weighed at the end of the event and shared on the City of Perry’s social media.
The first 150 registrants will receive a free event t-shirt. Beginning at noon, participants will have the opportunity to stay and tie-dye their t-shirt.
Participants will meet at the Perry Events Center between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m. to pick up supplies (trash bags, grabbers, gloves, etc.) and t-shirts. Extra supplies can be returned to the Perry Events Center upon completion of the event.
Trash can be dropped off at bag drop locations throughout the City during the course of the event or can be arranged for pick up by City Staff.
