Independence Day Celebration

There's nothing like an old-fashioned celebration! This Independence Day Celebration will throw back to the nostalgia of yesteryear filled with the charm, tradition, and wholesome fun! In celebration of the City of Perry's 200th birthday - we'll have a classic celebration - just like the good ol' days.

When will the fireworks begin?
Approximately 8:50 p.m.

Where is the fireworks launch area?
The fireworks launch site is at the large grassy area between Carrol Street and Main Street. Barricades will be clearly marked for the firework fallout zone. Do not cross the barriers at any time during the event.

What should I bring?
We strongly recommend bringing blankets or lawn chairs.

What can’t I bring?
Outside coolers, amplified sound, or fireworks of any kind.

Can I bring my dog?
Well-behaved, leashed pets are allowed at this event. Please not e the fireworks display will be loud. Do not bring an animal who is sensitive to loud noises or large groups of people.
