It’s officially spooky season The City of Perry will observe official trick-or-treating hours on October 31 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Not hunting for candy this year? Here are a few alternative Halloween activities your family can enjoy. Don’t forget our Halloweeletka event October 30 – November 1! Water System Upgrade | September 28 – October 2

The City of Perry is completing a significant upgrade to the City’s water system by commissioning a new, state-of-the art water treatment facility off Tucker Road. Crews will begin the process of bringing the system online on Monday, September 28 and last through October 2. Creekwood Traffic Park Now Open!

The Creekwood Traffic Park is now open! The Traffic Park is designed as a space where children can learn basic rules of the road and biking skills in a safe environment for free. Families are encouraged to bring their bikes to enjoy the Traffic Park and the nearby White Tail Trail system. Creekwood Park is open seven days a week and closes each day at sunset. Rozar Park Trails Open

UPDATE (September 30, 2020) The trails are now open. Please watch out for any live animals you may encounter on the trails! September 21, 2020 – The Rozar Park trails are temporarily closed due to a tree hanging over the pathway. Our crews are working to remove the tree. The trail will be closed through, at least, October 2. The park’s other amenities will remain open.

Perry Business Receives $26,400 In Natural Gas Incentive

The Downtown Development Authority of the City of Perry (DDA) presented a $26,408.98 check to the Morning By Morning Coffee Company for participating in the Natural Gas Incentive Program.
