Perry Police Department To Host Senior Citizen Firearm Safety Class

The City of Perry Police Department will host a Senior Citizen Firearm Safety class on January 9, 2023, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. The class will provide participants with knowledge of basic safety training including loading, unloading, and firing of handguns. In addition, the class will provide information on Georgia law regarding possession, concealment, and legal justifications for use of deadly force. Pine Needle Park Inclusive Playground Grand Opening

Perry Police Department Responds to Involuntary Manslaughter Incident

UPDATE - November 13, 2023 | 3:06 PM On November 10th, 2023, at around 10 P.M. the Perry Police Department responded to 610 Marsha Drive in reference to a shooting. Responding officers found an unresponsive 13-year-old female inside the residence with a gunshot wound to the neck. The victim was transported to Perry Hospital by Houston County EMS, where she succumbed to her injury. Perry Police Department Responds to Armed Robbery/Aggravated Assault

On November 4th, 2023, at around 6:00 A.M. the Perry Police Department responded to 1602 Sam Nunn Blvd, Quality Inn in reference to a personal armed robbery.
