Perry Youth Advisory Council 2024-2025 Now Accepting Applications

The City of Perry is accepting applications for the 2024-2025 Youth Advisory Council beginning August 19.

The Perry Youth Advisory Council offers the opportunity for high school-aged youth to learn more about their local government and City of Perry operations. The program seeks to facilitate communication with Perry’s youth and encourage their input on City initiatives and projects.

Interested students must complete the application for consideration.

Applicants should have an interest in local government and how it functions, be able to commit to serving one full term, be in good academic standing, and free of any serious disciplinary actions at their respective school.

Applicants must be a current Perry resident, 16-18 years old, and enrolled in a Perry area high school – including homeschoolers.

The deadline to apply for consideration is September 3, 2024.
