First Perry Startup Week Provides Support For Entrepreneurs

The first annual Perry Startup Week was held February 26 – March 1 and was a huge success for our community reaching over 150 participants. The goal of the week’s events was to provide an opportunity for local entrepreneurs and small business owners to have access to resources needed for starting a business in Perry. Hosting a successful startup week event in the City of Perry for local entrepreneurs was a culmination of months of planning and collaboration. Bringing together a diverse group of stakeholders including local businesses, support organizations, and government representatives, the event aimed to catalyze innovation and entrepreneurship in the City of Perry. Through a carefully curated program featuring a Business 101 session, topical lunch and learn presentations, a pitch competition workshop, and networking events, attendees were equipped with invaluable knowledge, resources, and connections to propel their ventures forward.

The event not only fostered a sense of community among entrepreneurs but also showcased Perry as a hub for innovation and economic growth. With a growing community buzzing with creativity and ambition, participants left inspired and empowered to pursue their entrepreneurial ventures. Moreover, the success of this event sparked ongoing initiatives and collaborations, laying the foundation for continued support and growth of the local startup ecosystem in Perry. We will be looking forward to continuing this program for years to come.
