Perry Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

Mayor Walker issued a proclamation in recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month to celebrate the Hispanic community and highlight their countless contributions and achievements.

According to the US Census Bureau, as of 2020, the Hispanic populating in Houston County is 7.4%.

We take this special time to recognize our residents of Hispanic family roots and express the community's appreciation for their numerous contributions to Perry's economic vitality and cultural diversity.
