Perry Police Department Goes Behind-The-Scenes With Citizens Police Academy

The Perry Police Department is accepting applications for this year’s Citizens Police Academy.

This 12-week program gives participants an opportunity to understand the responsibilities and challenges within the law enforcement profession.

The academy begins June 12 and will meet at the Public Safety Building located at 1207 Washington Street.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum age: 20 years old
  • Resident of Houston County
  • Complete an application including other waiver forms
