Rozar Park
Rozar Park, spanning 45 acres, is one of Perry’s premier recreation destinations, hosting a variety of activities and family-friendly events throughout the year, many of which are sponsored by the City.
The park features an 18-hole disc golf course, multiple soccer and baseball fields, playgrounds, an outdoor basketball court, and a picnic pavilion.
Outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy, with two large fishing ponds and a surrounding walking trail. Fishing is a beloved pastime, with anglers catching largemouth bass, crappie, bluegill, and catfish. Additionally, the park is a popular spot for birdwatching, photography, and painting, offering inspiration for nature lovers.
In 2019, new playground equipment was installed, making it a destination playground for families.
Rozar Park is also home to the James E. Worrall Community Center, which houses the Leisure Services Division’s administrative offices.
Rozar Park is located at 1060 Keith Drive in Perry.
