Officers Arrest Suspect in Perry Housing Authority Shooting Case

On 11/12/2022 at approx. 0125 hours, Officers with the Perry Police Department were dispatched to an aggravated assault incident at the Perry Housing Authority, 822 Perimeter Road, in Perry, GA. Patrol officers located the victim and rendered aid. The victim was found to have sustained a single gunshot wound to the lower abdomen. Perry Youth Football All-Stars Receive 1st and 2nd Place in District Tournament

The Perry 8U, 10U, and 12U Football All-Star teams competed in the GRPA District Tournament in Jones County over the weekend! City of Perry Hosts Christmas Parade The City of Perry will host the Winter Wonderland Christmas Parade on December 3 beginning at 10:00 a.m. This is the first time the City of Perry plays host to the Perry Christmas Parade. Section of Thompson Road to Temporarily Close

Beginning on November 14, a section of Thompson Road between Perry Parkway and Hwy 41 will be closed. The detour route will be the intersection of Perry Parkway and Hwy 41. Road closure signs will be placed to the North and South of Thompson Road along Hwy 41 and Perry Parkway. Temporary barricades will be placed at both ends of Thompson Road. Officers Arrest Two With Multiple Drug Charges On November 8, 2022, Perry Police Officer Davis observed a vehicle with a non-functioning driver's side headlight and no tag lights traveling on Houston Lake Road.
