Leisure Services is hosting girls softball registration from February 22 – March 6. Participants must be ages 7-12. Registration is $79. Payment in the form of credit, debit, or check is accepted. Mossy Creek Natural Announces Expansion

Mossy Creek Natural announced the business is expanding to a second studio at Ball Street Crossing as a makerspace to keep the 915 Carroll Street store stocked with locally-made products. Mossy Creek Natural is a minority-owned bath and body business in Downtown Perry. In 2020, sales grew 33% and space limitations in the retail building caused difficulty in keeping products on the shelves. Perry Fire & Emergency Services Recognized With Life Saving Award

Mayor and Council recognized members of the City of Perry Fire & Emergency Services with the Life Saving award for their response to a gunshot wound victim in January. Perry Police Hosts Crisis Intervention Training

The Perry Police Department was proud to host the Georgia Crisis Intervention Team Training instructed by the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in February. This intensive, 40-hour five day training prepares law enforcement officers and other public safety personnel with the skills to assist those with mental illness, co-occurring disorders, substance abuse, developmental disorders, or other brain disorders who are in crisis.
