Rozar Park Trails Open

UPDATE (September 30, 2020) The trails are now open. Please watch out for any live animals you may encounter on the trails! September 21, 2020 – The Rozar Park trails are temporarily closed due to a tree hanging over the pathway. Our crews are working to remove the tree. The trail will be closed through, at least, October 2. The park’s other amenities will remain open.

Perry Business Receives $26,400 In Natural Gas Incentive

The Downtown Development Authority of the City of Perry (DDA) presented a $26,408.98 check to the Morning By Morning Coffee Company for participating in the Natural Gas Incentive Program. City of Perry Awarded $748,561 For Housing Improvements

The City of Perry will receive $748,561 through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. The program is administered through the Georgia Department of Community Affairs. Crowd-Funded BOOST Grant Benefits Downtown Business

The Swanson is the latest recipient of the BOOST grant. The downtown business, known for their southern home cooking, will purchase a new walk-in freezer with the $500.00 grant. The BOOST program provides crowd-funded micro-grants to entrepreneurs and small business owners in the downtown development district. Labor Day & Trash Pickup Schedule

All non-essential City of Perry offices will be closed on Monday, September 7 to observe Labor Day. Trash Pickup Information For Next Week Garbage and recycling pickup will run one day behind. Yard debris and bulk waste will continue the routine pickup schedule on Tuesday, September 8. Customers normally scheduled for Monday pickup will be collected within the week.
