Plan Accident Investigation Underway On July 20, 2022, at 2:09pm officers of the Perry Police Department were dispatched to the Perry Airport at 275 Myrtle Field Road in reference to a plane crash. Upon arrival officers observed a Columbia 350 down on the runway with significant damage. All parties were out of the plane. Flint Energies Foundation awarded the Perry Police Department, as well as 25 other departments, with $10,000 as part of their mission to support local law enforcement with their public safety efforts. On September 12, 2021, at 1615hrs, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Macon Road and Chapel Ridge Drive in reference to a shooting that had occurred. Upon arrival, officers found a female Breanne Green (b/f, DOB 02/24/1999) that had been shot multiple times in a 2021 Kia Forte.
